Policy on the use of artificial intelligence (AI)

The journal Diabetes Obesity Metabolic Syndrome supports the ethical use of AI in scientific activities.

• Authors may use AI tools (translation, editing, analysis), but must declare this in the article.
• AI cannot be the author of a publication.
• Articles created entirely by AI will not be accepted.
• The editorial board may use AI for technical verification, but not for making decisions about publication.
• In case of ethical violations, the editorial board has the right to reject or withdraw the article.
