Ethical principles

The journal “Diabetes Obesity Metabolic Syndrome” adheres to international standards of ethics in scientific publications:

The journal Diabetes Obesity Metabolic Syndrome adheres to high standards of ethics in scientific publications based on the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), ICMJE, and other international organizations.

1. Ethics for authors

Authors must submit original scientific worksthat have not been previously published and are not under consideration by other publications.
All sources used in the work must be properly cited.
Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the datapresented in the article.
If a conflict of interestis identified, authors are required to notify the editorial board.
When using patient data, clinical cases, or experiments, authors must provide evidence of informed consentand compliance with ethical research standards.

2. Ethics for reviewers

Reviewing is carried out according to the principle of double-blind reviewing.
Reviewers are required to evaluate materials objectively, without bias.
Information obtained during the review process is confidentialand cannot be used for personal purposes.
If a conflict of interestis identified, the reviewer must refuse to review.

3. Ethics for the editorial board

The editorial board ensures unbiased decision-makingregarding the publication of articles based on their scientific quality, relevance, and relevance to the journal’s subject matter.
The editorial board guarantees the confidentialityof submitted materials until they are published.
If ethical violations are detected (plagiarism, data falsification, duplication of publications), the editorial board has the right to reject the article or withdraw an already publishedone.

4. Plagiarism and duplication

The journal does not accept for publication works that contain plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or duplicationof previously published materials.
All articles are checked for plagiarism using specialized software.

5. Corrections and retractions

If significant errors or ethical violations are discovered after publication, the editorial board has the right to:
publish corrections;
retract the articlefrom the archive;
notify the relevant institutions of the violation.

6. Publication fees

Articles in the journal “Diabetes Obesity Metabolic Syndrome” are published free of charge for all authors.

The editorial board does not charge authors for placing articles in open access, article selection and review procedures, preparing the journal for printing, as well as the content of the website and electronic deposit of manuscripts.
